Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 220 cubic inches in volume, which makes it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 220 lbs or less, this is considered suitable for most adults. If you are looking for a different size, this urn is also available in a keepsake or small size. A different size may be needed depending on the weight of your loved one. Make sure to double check the weight so that your beloved has the proper resting place.

On the bottom of the urn is a removable panel with a d-ring closure to secure it shut. The panel has a rubber gasket to keep the inside of the urn air-tight. To fill the urn the panel will be removed, a bag containing your loved ones remains is placed inside and the panel is put back in place.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. The bottom is covered in felt to avoid scratching any surfaces this may be displayed on. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Personalizing This Urn

This urn has the option for an engraved plaque. The plaque brings another level of personalization for a lasting family momento, passed on for generations. The addition of a loved ones name, legacy dates and their titles (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.) are most common. This urn allows for a total of 4 lines with 65 characters each to fill with any custom text you'd like in either Monotype Corsiva or Times New Roman font. You may add a piece of simple artwork or a personal photograph of your loved one to the left of any text engraving you add. You will upload or email us the photograph and we’ll take care of the rest from there. There is also room at the bottom of the plaque to have an optional poem engraved. An optional poem plaque is also available for the back of the urn. The engraving and urn will never fade, tarnish or rust.

The plaque is not attached to the urn prior to shipping. This allows the freedom for each person to adhere the urn as you see fit with the included permanent adhesive. See our easy plaque application instructions to make the process a breeze. If the need for an additional or new plaque arises, the plaque can be purchased separately from the urn, too.

Choosing An Engraving Example

Available on this product is an engraving example. If you choose this service, a mock-up of your engraving will be e-mailed to you within 24-business hours. This will allow you to review the text and make any changes you wish to see. Do note, the engraving will not be displayed on the product you purchase, rather it is meant to give you an idea of fonts, verbiage and layouts chosen. We will not process your order until your approval is received, your satisfaction is important!

Optional Motorcycle Cremation Bell Keychain

The tradition of ringing a bell to honor the dead and ward against evil spirits goes back centuries, and these beautiful motorcycle cremation bells are a wonderful way to bring that tradition into the present. Each bell is made with genuine brass and features a small clapper to create a pleasing chime. Motorcycle cremation bells are a unique keepsake, opening from the top so that a small amount of cremains, cemetery soil, or other keepsake can be placed inside. Each motorcycle cremation bell comes with a velvet bag, a fill kit (including instructions for filling your keepsake urn, a small funnel, and glue to seal the screw closure), and a split ring.

I really like the motorcycle urn. Especially for somewhere really loved bikes. I wish the name and poem would have been engraved in the urn to make it look better then the cheap sticker I could have made myself. The sticker really took away from the urn.

    Motorcycle Urn for my son

My Son Jessie was killed on his bike in 2012. I saw this pop up on my Facebook I went to the site and seen this bike. I KNEW this is what he would have wanted. I was blessed to have him text me to let me know he was alright. I received two from him on the 20th. he was killed on the 18th. He was with my Dad which passed in 98. It's been a long time since I could write a review. Seems like you don't get better with time, you just learn to live with it.

The first urn I received was beautiful but the handlebars were wobbly. I didn't even complain, I just wrote a review and the company reached out to me to offer a replacement. I was very impressed by this! Thank you for going above and beyond. My Dad will be forever remembered for his lifelong love of riding.
