This beautiful urn is made from high-grade, engineered composite wood with a walnut finish. The front of the urn showcases the well-known ‘Footprints in The Sand’ poem. Urn Size & Filling Information

This urn is 240 cubic inches in volume making it suitable for a loved one who had a healthy weight of 240 lbs or less. This size urn makes it suitable for most adults. If you are in need of a different size or finish, see the other options for this urn by clicking here.

On the bottom side of this urn is a removable wooden panel. The panel is held in place with 4 screws that will need to be removed (requires a phillips head screwdriver, not included) so the cremains can be placed inside. The ashes should always remain inside of the plastic bag they were given to you in. The bag should be placed inside the urn and the panel replaced with the 4 screws secured fastened into the urn. Some choose to place plastic bag of ashes inside a velvet bag to further protect them. We offer these bags in 9 colors above. We’ve also included protective velvet pads on the bottom of the urn so it does not scratch any surfaces it may sit on.

Displaying & Burying The Urn

This urn makes a great work of art to display in your home. However, if the plan for this urn is to be buried, it is important to consider a burial container. Burial containers will protect the urn from damage when buried as it is not meant to carry the weight of burial on its own. The Crown Vault Urn Burial Containers are made from lightweight polystyrene. It can withstand 4,300 pounds of top load pressure on a single vault! This container is designed to protect the urn and any other keepsakes inside when buried. A wide lip allows the vault to be carried easily and allows for a clean adhesive application; adhesive is included.

Personalizing This Urn

Perfect Memorials emphasizes the importance of personalizing each and every urn, allowing for a permanent honor for your loved one. This urn allows for 5 lines of engraving with up to 35 characters per line in either block (Times New Roman) or script (Monotype Corsiva) font. The addition of a loved ones name, legacy dates and their titles (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc.) are most common. You may also choose from our pre-written poems to add to the bottom of the personalized wooden panel.

Personalization for our Infinite Impressions Urns are done by way of UV printing on the front wooden panel of the urn. This cutting-edge process allows precise, vibrant and long-lasting results. We prep each urn before it’s personalized to ensure the area is smooth and free of any imperfections. The image and your personalization is then digitally transferred on to the panel using UV (ultraviolet) inks. The printer’s UV lights cure and dry the ink instantly to allow us to layer and use a full spectrum of colors. The UV-cured ink can even feel embossed giving added dimension. This process is environmentally friendly as it has near-zero VOC emissions and is resistant to fading, scratching and wear over time. This process provides superior quality and lasting impressions.

Do note: Behind the wooden panel is a piece of glass. This glass is meant to remain behind the wooden panel and helps to hold the structural integrity of the urn in varying weather conditions as some cause wood to expand or contract.

Footprints in the Sand Poem:

One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I need you most you would leave me." The Lord replied: "My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
