The Ebony Contemporary Cat cremation urn is crafted from genuine solid aluminum. It has a polished black finish on the exterior of the urn. It has an inside capacity of 15 cubic inches which for most cats, ends up only being a portion of their total cremains. This urn has a bottom-opening plate that secures with screws.

This is beautiful, so graceful looking. It is heavier than I expect but that's not a bad thing. I haven't put ashes in yet so not sure about how much it holds. -

I have been looking for the perfect urn for my Beautiful black cat Apollo. He is still with me , but I wanted to be prepared for the inevitable. I have been searching for years, for just the right urn , and when I saw this one , I knew it was it! It is very beautiful, the picture does not do it justice. Very happy with it, and very happy knowing Apollo, will have a beautiful final resting place -

This urn is beautiful. Very well made & heavy cast brass. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. Our cat was only 6 pounds and her ashes fit in here nicely even with a plastic ziploc bag inserted first. -

The opening is very small. My 9lb cat’s ashes can not fit in unless I remove the sealed plastic bag and pour the ashes into it. -

The picture really does no do this justice. It it beautiful. Perfect for my much loved 18 year old black cat. My family loves it!
Regarding some bad experience reviews with chipping the paint when filling, thank you. This urn is heavy and there is no way you can transfer remains at home (I was just a bit too late in my timing and had to transfer from the vet supplied urn to this one). I made sure to use the packaging Styrofoam to put it on when it was upside down while transferring the remains. No chips, no scratches. -

Our wonderful, beautiful, smart,black cat "Max" passed away suddenly. We wanted something nice to put on our mantel and the black cat urn was perfect. It took every bit of his 12 lb. ashes. The urn is sturdy and looks even better than the picture.
